Heavenly Sky
The blue sky is slowing fading,
With the evening sun,
Painting a rainbow of colors
From deep shades of gray,
To vibrant hues of pink and gold.
The clouds shine like feathers,
All wispy and light,
As they reflect,
The last golden rays of the sun,
Into the shadows of coming night.
The faint stars from afar,
Slowly light the darkened heavens,
Glimmering off of the clouds
As the moon slowly rises,
To kiss the sun goodnight.
